Well, i said I would be better about updating...but I haven't been. That's life I guess. Anyways, I am officially married now. Married life is great so far. I love having someone to come home to after work each night. There's something so comforting about it. We are finally getting our condo all settled and all the boxes put away...it's been a long time I know. But it seems like the junk around our house is just never ending. Let's see....other news..... Well, we have a new addition to our family. His name is Casper, and he is a very cute little white kitten with 2 gray spots on the top of his head that we got from the Humane Society. His big brother Jack thinks he is the best toy ever made and they are quickly becoming good wrestling buddies. Jack has no idea that the kitty will soon be bigger than he is. So we'll see how that goes when the time comes. I'll have to post pictures of him sometime soon. Other news.... Chadwick got a new job!! He wasn't really looking for a new one but got approached by a mobile media company who wants to start making all of their comercials in house. So after a lot of praying and weighing the options, he decided to take the opportunity. The other exciting thing is that he will now have health benefits plus nearly double his current salary. God is so good. We both don't feel like we deserve it what-so-ever, but it is God showing his love and proving that he will always provide for us. So all that said, we have started thinking about the possibility of buying our first home come May when our lease is up. It's scary but exciting too. We haven't really looked into it much, but we are starting to educate ourselves on the whole home buying process. Hopefully by next spring the market will have come down a bit and it will be a good time to buy. Once again, we gotta believe God will provide. And he keeps proving that he will, so I'm not too worried about it. Well, I guess that's it for now. It's Sunday afternoon and I am at work finishing up a few things that didn't get finished last week. But's it's all printing...so I send it to print, then sit and wait...sounds like fin huh? Oh well, looks good to the company that I'm here right? Ok, adios for now. And I really am going to try to keep up with this now. We'll see how it goes. | | |
| 19 days until I'm married! It hasn't even hit me becuase life is so
busy....i feel like my wedding is still months away.....maybe writing
it will help make it a reality....wait, nope.
Why doesn't it feel like it?
Oh well, soon enough I suppose.

| OK...so it's been 7 months since I updated.....sue me!
Well, I finished school...actually graduated with honors too! Then I went to work right away. It's fun but I didn't have much adjustment time...so it was kinda weird to transition from student to real adult.
On top of that wedding planning is in full force....5 weeks from today and I will be MARRIED!! That's weird to think about....I mean I feel so comfortable and normal around Chadwick that a part if me thinks it won't be much different than it is now...but I know it is going to be COMPLETELY different...living together, sharing finances, etc.
Anyways, I am really excited for the wedding to come...but also kind of excited for it to be over so life can start to become somewhat normal again....I don't mean that in a bad way...but wedding stuff is eating my life right now and it will be nice not to think about anymore. What I am really excited for is our honeymoon in Cozumel. Check out some of the pics of our resort below....

| Gosh. It's been a while. Things have been busy but fun. We went to California and had a blast. The weather was like 75 degrees each day and not a could in the sky. We went to the beach and i wore a bathing suit. AND ITS NOVEMBER FOLKS!! Plus, when we were in the ocean 5 dolphins came up and swam right by us like 50 yards away
Anyways, the wedding we went to was the most beautiful wedding I've ever been to. It was a,ll outside, ceremony and reception, and there were these beutiful tress and fountains and everything all around. It was incredible. But they had a pretty hefty budget ($30,000) so I would hope it was beautiful if it cost that much money.
The trip was good for me and Chadwick too because it allowed us to talk about and sort some things out as far as the possibility of us moving there. There is still no definite answer, we gotta keep praying. But basically, after being there, and after talking to Latifah about a lot, I realized that Chadwick needs to give it a shot there. If he doesn't get that chance, he will always be wondering, "what if?" And he is so ambitious about his career that I don't want to be the one that stops him from pursuing his dreams. And with that I have also realized that if we are going to live there, we need to do it now rather than later, before we have a family to uproot and before we get too settled. It would make more sense to embark onm that journey while we are younger and new in our marriage and then if it doesn't work, we still have plenty of time to move back to Colorado or whatever.
So yeah, California was really eye opening.
